Educational Facilitator Each student has a dedictated Educational Facilitator (EF). EFs are certified teachers who take care of the "big picture" for each student by serving as a guide, advocate, and primary point of contact. Students can choose to keep the same educational facilitator year after year. A student's educational facilitator will oversee the student's progress, make sure certain requirements are met, and help tailor the program to meet the student's learning styles, personal interests, and goals. Course Instructors While the EF serves as the teacher for many subjects, there are situations where middle school students will have course instructors. Foreign language, advanced math, and advanced writing classes are some common examples of courses requiring an instructor, ensuring that each student receives a high quality learning experience. As the student approaches high school, the likelihood of one or more classes having a specialized course instructor increases, making this a more natural transition period into high school.
